Medicare Questions
When am I eligible for Medicare?
Medicare eligibility can depend on factors such as age, disability status, and certain qualifying health conditions.
Our licensed agents can help you understand when you may become eligible and explain the Medicare coverage options available to you.
Which is better: a Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement plan?
Neither option is automatically better for everyone. The right fit depends on your individual needs, including your doctors, travel habits, healthcare needs, preferences, and budget.
Our agents can explain how Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans differ and help you compare your options.
What Medicare plan options can you help me review?
Runnels Insurance Group can help you review Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplement plans, and Prescription Drug Plans. Each option works differently, and the right choice depends on your healthcare needs, doctors, prescriptions, budget, and coverage preferences.
Our licensed agents can explain the differences and help you compare available options.
When can I change my Medicare plan?
Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period generally runs from October 15 through December 7 each year. During this time, eligible Medicare beneficiaries may be able to review, join, switch, or drop certain Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans for the upcoming year.
Depending on your circumstances and current coverage, other enrollment periods or Special Enrollment Periods may also be available. Runnels Insurance Group can help you review your situation and understand when you may be eligible to make a change.
Added Protection Options
Dental & Supplemental Insurance
Can I purchase dental insurance without health insurance?
Yes. Dental insurance may be available as a stand-alone policy, so you do not necessarily need to purchase a health insurance plan to obtain dental coverage.
Do you offer accident, hospital indemnity, or other supplemental coverage?
Supplemental insurance can help provide added financial protection for certain out-of-pocket costs that may not be fully covered by your primary health insurance.
Depending on the product, this may include accident-related expenses, hospital stays, or other qualifying situations.
Why would I consider supplemental insurance?
Yes. We offer supplemental insurance options that may include accident and hospital indemnity coverage.
Our agents can explain the available products and help you understand how supplemental coverage may work alongside your primary health insurance.
Can supplemental coverage work with my current health insurance?
Yes. Supplemental coverage is designed to work alongside your primary health insurance.
Our agents can help explain how different supplemental products may fit with your current coverage and whether they make sense for your needs.
When can I sign up for dental or supplemental insurance?
Dental and supplemental insurance may be available at different times depending on the type of coverage, carrier, and plan. Some plans may allow enrollment year-round, while others may have specific enrollment windows or eligibility requirements.
Runnels Insurance Group can help you review available options, understand when you can apply, and choose coverage that works alongside your current insurance needs.

Runnels Insurance Group can help business owners review available plans, understand eligibility requirements, compare coverage options, and choose a start date that works for their company and employees.
When can employees sign up for group health insurance?
